DESCRIPTION:SCULPTURE TOUR at RUN BIKE & WALK PARK \n\nArt begins a conversation for yourself and others on September 8th from 6 PM to 8 PM\n\n \n\nBeginning on September 8 2018\, Rock Falls will be home to a Sculpture Tour. Rock Falls Tourism will be offering fine wines\, craft beers and music by Class Act II\, in the evening on the riverfront. The yearlong sculpture exhibition at the RB&W Park will feature Illinois artists' work that complement our outdoor public space along the banks of the Rock River.\n\n \n\nArt is thought provoking. Art is a way in which we can express that fundamentally deeper part of what it means to be human\, and relate to one another in not just a superficial sense.  On the tour\, meet the sculptors and have them reveal their inspirations\, their motivations and what compelled them to form the art you see before you. You may see what pain looks like\, what heartache looks like\, what desire looks like or what love looks like.\n\n \n\nArt is its own language.  Art can convey what words cannot. 10 Illinois sculptors will have their work remain in place for one year. Each September we will kick off a changing of the sculptures with a gala event of great music\, fine wines\, craft beers and gorgeous thought provoking art. See the world through an artist's eye at Run\, Bike & Walk District Park on the banks of the Rock River.
