Gardening for Soul Care and Mindfulness
University of Illinois Extension of Whiteside County presents Gardening for Soul Care and Mindfulness. Distraction is becoming more commonplace in the busy world today, especially when you figure in all the forms of technology we have at our fingertips. It is becoming more and more difficult for people to "be in the present moment" and it can be harmful to our wellbeing. This session will explore how to use gardening to become more mindful and present in the moment. Make and take your own mini-mindfulness garden.
