Now You Seed It
Get a jump start on your spring gardening! Join Whiteside County Master Gardeners at the Sterling Public Library on March 28 at 10AM, and learn how to start seeds and sustain your bedding plants until they are ready for outdoor planting. You will take home informational handouts on planting hints and dates, a seedling and a seed tape, to kick-start your summer garden. This program is free; registration is required to ensure materials for everyone. Register at: go.illinois.edu/whitesideseeds. Check out the assortment of free seeds to get started on your own garden from the "Seed Library." The Seed Library will be available at the Sterling and Odell library throughout the growing season.
