Harvey Geerts, will present a program showing pictures and giving history on several of the old rural schools in northwestern Whiteside County, namely Albany, Fulton, Garden Plain, Newton, Union Grove and Upstick townships. It is a condensed version from the original programs done for the Fulton Historical Society a couple of years ago. Mr. Geerts, who is a Fulton native, has been active with the Fulton Historical Society, doing genealogical and historical research since 2009.
