Bellson Music Fest

Rock Falls Tourism is incredibly excited and honored to host the Bellson Music Fest at the RB&W Park in Rock Falls on Saturday, June 18, 2022. This event is being planned to carry out the legacy of Louie Bellson who was born in Rock Falls and became a famous drummer, composer/arranger, and band leader. At age 15, Bellson pioneered the double-bass drum setup. Rock Falls Tourism is working closely with Francine Bellson (widow of Louie Bellson) and also Josh Duffee (music director from Davenport, IA) on all the aspects of this great event. We have 4 bands scheduled to perform between 2pm and 9:30pm. Announcement of bands will be forthcoming.
