Post House Community Center Summer Series

University of Illinois Extension presents their Post House Community Center Summer Series - Hold that Thought.  Have you ever gone into a room and couldn't remember why you went in there?  Have you ever misplaced your keys or cell phone?  Have you ever forgotten what you were about to say?  If you've answered "yes," you are not alone!  Everyone forgets things now and again, and this happens throughout life.  Did you ever need to remind a child to hang up a coat or take out the garbage?  Yes, memory does change as we age, but forgetfulness is common for people at all stages of life.  This workshop will look at the memory process and what researchers say contributes to brain health, as well as strategies for helping with everyday forgetfulness.
