The Art of Interpretation and Teaching Workshop
Join Illinois Extension for a one-of-a-kind workshop on August 23 that will spark your imagination, sharpen your communication skills, and help you connect more deeply—with nature and with others. Award-winning storyteller, creativity trainer, artist, and listening coach Marilyn Price will help participants explore how to listen with purpose, communicate more effectively using questions, speak with clarity, and engage different learning styles—all while having a great time. Early and elementary education teachers, Master Naturalists, Master Gardeners, other youth educators and leaders, and anyone with an interest in the wonders of nature will benefit from the program. The cost is $30 per person and includes lunch. Register for this individual session of the Master Naturalist program at go.illinois.edu/MNTraining2025.
