Director of Enrollment and Marketing
The role of the Director is to promote Newman Central Catholic High School to successfully increase the number of prospective students enrolling in and graduating from the school as well as meet the school's annual recruitment and retention goals. With the focus to support and advance the School's mission, vision, and values, the Director leads the comprehensive strategic marketing and communication plan. The primary objective is to tell the unique story of NCCHS internally and externally to inform and increase awareness of the School, generate interest and demand among prospective families, strengthen our institutional brand and reputation, and raise visibility both regionally and nationally. This part-time hourly position reports to the Principal of NCCHS. The position will require working evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Enrollment:

Manage all recruitment activity with a growth expectation annually in applications and enrolled students.

Cultivate relationships with new families and students by engaging them in Newman through authentic communication and consistent contact that generates enrollment growth.

Maintain consistent contact with inquiries through school visits, email, direct mail, personal letters and telephone calls.

Maintain contact with applicants through school visits, email, direct mail, personal letters and telephoning to convert them to enrolled students.

Maintain an enrollment data base that portrays detailed communication and information on prospective students and families.

Work with transfer student families inquiring about admission to the school.

Provide a weekly report on activity and key enrollment indicators to share with internal school constituencies.

Coordinate Recruitment Events.
Outreach, Marketing and Communications:

Manage publication and communication needs to promote the school.

Update website and social media sites.
-
Coordinate and assist with the design and production of Newman printed publications.

Build relationships with all Catholic, partner schools, parishes, and private institutions.

Represent Newman Central Catholic High School as appropriate at public and private events.
Administrative:

Coordinate enrollment management and retention committee.

Organize and maintain a Student Ambassador Program.

Organize and maintain a Parent Ambassador Program.

Attend administrative meetings as required.
Other:
-
Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with administration, faculty, staff and community members to ensure a positive work environment.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding student and staff information in order to remain in compliance with legal requirements and to maintain a professional work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the school.

Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with the school leadership, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, community leaders and volunteers.

Possess enthusiasm, drive, motivational ability, willingness to take risks, competitive spirit.

Possess knowledge of computers and an understanding of the potential of technology to facilitate the admissions function and improve internal communications within NCCHS and external communications beyond campus.

Possess a strong commitment to Catholic education.

Graphic design experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree preferred, and enrollment and marketing experience is helpful.
