Job Duties And Responsibilities

General Maintenance

Rate of Pay: 24.65/hour

Job Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and machines.

Develop and implement ideas for continuous improvement.

Actively participate in problem solving sessions.

Work and communicate effectively with all functional areas to provide necessary support to safely produce quality products and services.

Performs routine maintenance on equipment as necessary.

Performs all position responsibilities in a safe manner and in accordance with all prescribed time schedules.

Supports total quality management objectives in a team environment.

Other duties as assigned by your manager

Requirements:

Minimum 2-years experience in a general maintenance related field or Technical degree/certificate.

Strong work ethic within a team environment.

Good decision making and problem-solving skills.

Good listening and cooperation skills.

Basic machine/tooling knowledge.

Basic fabrication skills (welding, drilling, cutting, painting, etc.).

Basic electrical skills (480 3-phase, 110 AC, low voltage DC).

Knowledge of and experience with PLC Ladder Logic.

Possess basic mechanical skills (thread tapping, lathe, welding).

Microsoft Office working knowledge

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to work with little or no supervision and able to plan, organize and set priorities.

Able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines.

Ability to perform assigned duties and responsibilities accurately and efficiently.

Must have excellent attendance record

Must be willing to cross-train within the department

Qualifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Good math skills

Recognizable leadership skills, accepting of responsibility

Self-motivated, team-oriented and good organizational skills

Effective oral and written communication skills
